All Interested Nursing candidates can apply online for four years of B.Sc program from March 10th, 2024, to April 15th, 2024. Students can apply to all private and government colleges in Bangladesh.

Eligibility for Nursing Admission 2024

If you wish to enroll in the Nursing program in the academic year 2023-2024, you must be eligible for admission. Below are the important requirements for admission to nursing programs in Bangladesh:


First condition for admission in nursing program in Bangladesh. You must have Bangladeshi citizenship other wise you  can’t apply online.


When you pass the HSC exam you can apply easily for Nursing admission. The maximum age limit is 22 years for all Nursing Diploma and BSC in Nursing programs.


BSC in Nursing Four year program)
  • Qualifications: Candidate must have obtained and SSC/ HSC or equivalent certificate in the science group.
  • Minimum GPA Requirements: Earn Average GPA 7.00 in SSC/HSC or Equivalent result.
  • Biology GPA Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.00 in Biology in both semestrial exams.
Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery (Three Year Program):
  • Qualifications: Applicant must have passed SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent from any subject group.
  • Minimum GPA Requirements:  Over all earn  GPA 6.00 in SSC/HSC or equivalent examination.
Diploma in Midwifery ( Three year Program): 

Qualifications: Obtaining a minimum GPA score in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination from any group.

Additional Points to Note:
  • For all programs, a GPA less than 3.00 in any examination (for B.Sc. in Nursing) or 2.50 (for Diploma programs) will not be accepted.
  • Make sure that you fulfill not only an Average GPA but also a class GPA if the course you will study requires it.

These other conditions mean that applicants must have the minimum educational background or this qualification to apply for a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in Bangladesh.

For the start of the Diploma in Nursing and BSC in Nursing Program, candidates have to complete admission form which is available on the BNMC official website. This form need to providing of biographic data, educational certificates, and most desirable institutes as related to nursing courses by the applicants. You can easily pass this process Just follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the official website: To begin with, visit the website of
  • Fill Up the application form: Fill up out all the requirements in the application form is of great importance.
  • Upload Your Photo and Signature: Upload a photo (300 x 300 pixels) and a signature (300 x 60 pixels) that looks good in black and white. These are mandatory for you to apply for the program.
  • Provide Your Addresses: Here, address both your present and permanent addresses in the English language. Mention the information such as district, police station/Upazila, and zip code as well.

When you have completed the online application form, make sure that you pay the application fee within 72 hours. Here’s a simple guide to help you through the process:

Know your Fee: The application fee is taka 700 for BSc in Nursing and taka 500 for Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses.
Payment Method: You’ll be paying your application fee through via Teletalk.

Get Your User ID: After you submitted the online application, you will get the applicant’s copy with the User ID that you have chosen. This is essential for the clearing mechanism of the payments and also of the foreign trade.

Send the First SMS: Open your messaging app now and send a short SMS in the style listed down:

Please write BNMC <space>, then user ID and send it to 16222.

Receive PIN: Then, you’ll get a PIN sent via SMS to your given number. This PIN is thus essential for the next step.

Send the Second SMS: Now, write another SMS like this:
Type: BNMC <space> Yes <space> PIN and massage the text to NOW (16222).

Confirmation: The second SMS will be sent to your line and it automatically will be prompted to a confirmation message. This message will include user ID and password. Keep these details in a safe place as you will need them for later to download your admit card.
