SSC/Dakhil/SSC (Vocational/Equivalent Examination) from any educational board or GPA from Bangladesh Open University before starting the GPA method can apply in the academic year 2023-2024 academic year.
Admission requirement
- Students: Minimum GPA 3.50 with GPA 3 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics
- Students: GPA 2.50 with GPA 2 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics
- 2nd division for those who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before GPA process.
Diploma in Textile Engineering Admission
SSC/Dakhil/SSC (Vocational/Equivalent Examination) from any educational board or GPA from Bangladesh Open University before starting the GPA method can apply in the academic year 2023-2024 academic year.
Eligibility
- Students: Minimum GPA 3.50 with GPA 3 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics
- Students: GPA 2.50 with GPA 2 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics
- 2nd division for those who have passed SSC or equivalent examination before GPA process.
Diploma in Marine Engineering Technology
Only students who have passed the SSC or Dakhil examination held under any education board with a minimum GPA of 3.50 from the science department can apply for admission in the academic year 2023-2024.
Under the English medium curriculum, students who have obtained grade four certificate in 5 subjects including science, mathematics and English can apply.
Eligibility
- Age: Maximum 18 years on the date of application.
- Physical Qualification: Minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches for male candidates and 5 feet 2 inches for females.
- Visual acuity should be minimum 6/12 (6/6 with glasses).
- Medical fitness certificate, eye and color vision fitness certificate and hearing fitness certificate should be obtained from a recognized physician.
Govt institutions (4 years diploma admission)
Candidates who have passed the SSC / Dakhil / Vocational equivalent examination held under any education board and obtained at least GPA 2.50 can be admitted to Diploma in Agriculture, Diploma in Forensic, Diploma in Fisheries and Diploma in Livestock programs in the academic year 2023-2024.
Non Govt institutions (4 years diploma admission)
Candidates who have passed the SSC / Dakhil / Vocational equivalent examination held under any education board and obtained at least GPA 2.00 can be admitted to Diploma in Agriculture, Diploma in Engineering technology, Diploma in Forensic, Diploma in Fisheries and Diploma in Livestock programs in the academic year 2023-2024.
Govt institutions (2 years diploma admission)
Candidates who have cleared SSC (Vocational/Dakhil/Exam) in any year can apply for cluster wise admission in academic year 2023-2024.
Govt 2 year Course
Argo Machinery, automobile, building and maintenance, clothing and garments finishing, computer operation and maintenance, drafting and civil, electrical works and maintenance, fish culture and breeding, machine tool operation and maintenance, poultry rearing and farming, refrigeration and air conditioning welding and fabrication, Wood and Design, Computerized Accounting System, Financing Practices, Digital Technology- E-Business and Human Resource Development.

There won’t be an entrance exam for the 2023–24 Diploma in Engineering Admission. For admission to Diploma in Engineering programs at all government polytechnic colleges, a total of two merit lists will be made public. On September 7, 2024, the first merit list will be made public. September 19, 2024, will see the publication of the second merit list.
